Stonehenge is on every single one of those listicles of “old things in the world one must visit.” Coming to London for an extended period of time, I knew that Stonehenge would have to finally get crossed off my endless bucket list.
Pretty much the second I got my LSE email address, I started getting these emails advertising day trips to Stonehenge and Bath. Though it seemed like a scam, I got a group together and we went!
Luckily, this was no scam, and we got to spend an hour in the wind and rain looking at really old rocks before spending a few hours walking around the tiny, picturesque city of Bath.
I had my first Cornish pasty and a decent, large gelato. Additionally, I discovered why Bath’s name is Bath (the Roman baths from the Roman Empire).
